Look at lances puppy. Harley. how uncalled for cute is she? Am i the only 27 year old who is going to The New Moon premiere at midnight on thursday? Im super excited. I feel like a tween in the late 90's who is going to see Hanson. It's really kinda ridiculous.

fort hood

I cannot believe what happened at Fort Hood today. i'm still in shock. My little brother, Casey. is a Staff Sgt. and is stationed at fort hood.

Casey was supposed to be in the Readiness center, where the guy opened fire, at the time of the shooting. Luckily he got held up at in a briefing and was on his way there when the shooting started

12 soldiers died and over 30 injured. To think that they went to iraq and survived in a combat zone, just to come home to their base and get killed or shot by one of their own.

I haven't been able to get through to casey yet, but he texted my dad and said that he was okay. I can't even imagine what he's going through. He's already lost so many friends in iraq and i'm sure he knew some of the people injured or killed today. So senseless.

I am glad that the shooter didn't kill himself or get killed by someone else. That's always how these mass shootings end, with the killer ending his own life. Apparently he was shot and then arrested. He'll be rotting in a federal jail for rest of his worthless life.

Friday my great aunt Mae died in a house fire. Her funeral was yesterday. She was 84

Today at 2pm my granny(my great grandmother) on my dads side of family died. She was 93.

It's like the bad news just keeps coming.

I'm so over Sarah Palin. Just when you think she's finally out of the news, she pops up with some more bullshit. We all fucking get it, you're running for president in 2012, although you won't come out and say it.

Does she really think that resigning as Gov. of Alaska will help her chances? And her reasons were such bs. Saying she can't do her job effectively with all the media attention. Well then quit doing so many fucking interviews.

My favorite part of the whole palin saga is Bristols baby daddy, Levi. He is always talking shit about her to the press. Did you see him on Tyra with his white trash mom? It was amazing to say the least.

The GOP doesn't want her anyway. they know she's trouble and theres no way in hell she could be a serious contender in 2012. They're like, "Thanks, but no thanks." I dontt see how she doesnt realize how horrible of a VP pick she was and that she was way out of her league. What a mess

I found a place. i was kinda sorta looking for an apartment or whatever for the past couple of weeks. I moved back in with my dad after my last roommate flipped out on me because he had roid rage and anger issues.

my friend katie called me last wed and told me she was moving out of her rent house and needed someone to take her place. It's a 3 bedroom house in spanish town and the rent is 220 a month plus utiliities. That's beyond a steal in baton rouge. I used to live in spanish town with matt and have been wanting to move back for a while. it's my fav neighborhood in baton rouge. For the non louisiana peeps, its in downtown baton rouge. It's very hippyish, laid back, boheimein. All the houses in spanish town are old new orleans style. High ceilings, hardwood floors, super awesome. i'm in love with the house.

I'm in the process of moving in right now. I have about half of my stuff moved in. I'm at work right now, so i think after i get off, i'm going to run to my dads house and get the rest. I hate pack\ing and unpacking and all that moving drama.

okay, i guess i should go do work.

     19 was the first time i every messed around with a guy. I had just moved to baton rouge and it was with some
       guy who was like in him late twenties. I guess technically im' still a virgin in regards to women because i've
      ventured down there.

2. At what store do you buy your groceries?
    Whole foods if i have the chance, but walmart if im' being lazy and cheap.

3. McDonald's or Burger King?
   McDonalds for breakfast and burger king any other time expcept with Micky D's has the Mcrib.

4. What's the best drink you make?
    A white chocolate Martini.   Big shot of godiva white choc liqueur, shot of baileys, shot of stoli, small splash of whole milk, small amount of choc syrup,    Put in shaker with ice and shaker quite hard, serve in choc rimmed martini glass.

5. What's it like to live through a hurricane?
    During the hurricane it's just really loud and like a hella bad thuderstorm. IT's really windy and rainy and usually the power goes out. The really rough part is te days and sometimes weeks after the hurricane. Electricity sometimes takes weeks to be restores, there is usually flooding,    everything is closed and you start to feel trapped and like you're living in a nightmare.

Doubt

I didn't think I could love Meryl Streep anymore than I already did. that was until I saw Doubt. She's beyond flawless in this movie. Actually everyone in this movie gave amazing performances. I kinda thought the movie might have a slower pace than I generally like, but it wasn't slow or drawn out at all. It was the best Meryl movie i've seen in a while. Def oscar worthy. The only reason i dont' think she'll get the golden globe is because I think they'll give her the globe for mamma mia or she'll split her votes btween those movies and won't get either.

If you have a chance go see this movie.
